Barbican is a non-alcoholic, malt beverage, that comes in many different flavors. A photo of the drink appears in the first site posted below. Apparently, the drink is doing very well in the non-alcoholic beer world market, capturing about forty percent of it.
The brew is manufactured by Aujan Industries in Saudi Arabia, and information about the company and its products can be found below too.
As I continued researching this drink I'd never heard of before, I also found an alcoholic beverage named Barbican, a combination of Scotch, Drambuie, and passion fruit juice. This is a Rusty Nail with juice. See below for the recipe.
So there you have it. Barbican is both an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic beverage, depending on your taste. It is ok to drink either one, but not ok to drink a lot of either.
Stick to water as your drink of choice, but an occasional Barbican can't hurt you.
